Method of Application and Dosage
Seed Treatment : Seed treatment with Tricure 2-5 gm per kg seeds.
Root inoculation : Mix 10g of Tricurer per litre of water and dip the cuttings and seedlings for 10 minutes before transplanting.
Soil amendment : Mix 250 gm of Tricure formulation in 100 kg of well decomposed FYM and cover it for 7 days with gunny bag. Turn the mixture once in every 3-4 days interval, keep at least for 15 days and then broadcast in the field.
Soil drenching : Drench the soil with Tricure 250-500 gm with 200-400 lit water per acre at 30 days after sowing. Second application at same dose, if the disease persists in long duration crops.
Aerial or spot application/wound dressing : Spraying of Tricure 250-500 gm per acre as foliar spray to control air borne plant diseases like sheath blight diseases affecting above ground parts. Biological control of foliar diseases is rarely practiced when compared to soil-borne diseases as it resulted in little success. The reason being the poor survival of antagonists on above ground plant parts. Aerial application of Tricure prevents black sooty mould fungus on foliage and wounds of shrubs and trees after pruning to prevent decay.
